Application & Training Specialist CAD/CAM (m/f/d)  

Responsibilities

• Preparing and conducting specialized training sessions for customers, representatives, and sales partners both domestically and internationally, as well as providing continuing education for internal employees with specialized dental technology knowledge
• Planning, organizing, and coordinating training programs at the training academy
• Advising prospective participants on the course portfolio
• Creating, maintaining, and further developing training materials and presentations
• Further developing and expanding the training offerings
• Training and mentoring new training instructors at the academy
• Supporting other departments with dental technology-related questions, particularly regarding workflows, etc.
• Demonstrating, testing, and further developing hybrid technology
• Conducting and documenting verifications and validations of new and optimized products
• Introducing new technologies and product concepts based on feedback from customers and distributors
• Contributing dental technology expertise, perspectives, and assessments to development projects
• Collaborating on targeted and customer-oriented product development, particularly in the area of product validation

Profile of requirements

• Successful completion of training as a dental technician (m/f/d), master dental technician (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
• Substantial professional experience in the field of digital dental technology as well as in the dental CAD/CAM environment
• Very good understanding of digital workflows in a dental laboratory or in-office lab—from design to production
• Experience with CAM software, ideally hyperDENT & Millbox (CIMsystems)
• Good knowledge of CAD software, ideally exocad
• Strong ability to convey technical and application-specific content in a way that is tailored to the target audience and easy to understand
• Strong communication skills and a confident, professional demeanor when interacting with customers, dealers, and internal contacts
• Very good written and spoken German and English
• Willingness to travel internationally for training sessions, customer visits, and dealer visits

Desirable:

• Experience as a trainer, training instructor, application specialist, product specialist, or technical consultant
• Experience with digital dental manufacturing technologies, particularly 4-/5-axis milling machines and 3D printing
• Knowledge of working with materials such as zirconia, PMMA, wax, CoCr, titanium, glass-ceramics, and composites
• Knowledge in the areas of error analysis, machine operation, and process optimization
