Development Engineer Control and Regulation Technology (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

CNC Control Technology

Design and configuration of modern CNC control systems
Development of new machine functions
Support and maintenance of proprietary CNC control systems

Motion Control

Design and parameterization of servo, direct-drive, and stepper motor systems
Controller design and optimization of high-precision axis systems
Optimization of dynamics, accuracy, and control performance

PLC Programming

Development and maintenance of PLC programs
Implementation of machine control logic
Development of safety-related control functions

Commissioning

Commissioning of new machines
Troubleshooting and optimization of complex control systems
Support during series production ramp-ups

Software and Systems Development

Development of new control functions
Development of user interfaces for CNC applications
Close collaboration with mechanical, software, and electrical engineering teams

Verification and Validation

Planning and execution of tests
Verification of new functions
Validation of new machine platforms

Profile of requirements

Degree in electrical engineering or qualification as a state-certified electrical engineering technician
Several years of professional experience in mechanical or plant engineering, preferably in machine tools, medical technology, or equipment manufacturing
Experience with CNC control systems or motion control
Experience in PLC programming
Knowledge of industrial bus systems and drive technology
Good command of German and English
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Structured, thorough, independent, and solution-oriented working style
Strong teamwork skills
