Head of Supply Chain Management (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Goal-oriented disciplinary and technical leadership of the supply chain team
• Comprehensive management of production and material planning, as well as all warehouse and shipping logistics
• Strategic optimization of inventory control and inventory management
• Ensuring transparency and efficiency throughout the value chain using key performance indicators
• Establishing shop floor management and continuous improvement processes (CIP)
• Ensuring a smooth and timely internal material flow
• Central coordination and synchronization of all stakeholders in the supply chain
• Ongoing analysis and optimization of core processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Proactive risk identification and implementation of effective countermeasures in the supply chain
• Returns management, including goods receipt and structured control
• Professional organization and monitoring of the machine packaging and shipping process

Profile of requirements

• A successfully completed degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business administration with a focus on logistics/supply chain) or a successfully completed technical or business vocational training program with in-depth continuing education in supply chain management
• Several years of professional experience in logistics/supply chain, as well as experience in the technical and managerial leadership of a team
• Proven experience in implementing change processes, ideally in the dental/medical technology or precision engineering sectors
• Extensive experience in production planning, inventory management, and capacity planning
• Fluent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
• Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally proAlpha, as well as advanced knowledge of MS Office
• Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and a pronounced hands-on mentality
• Strong affinity for technology and excellent communication skills across all hierarchical levels
