We are looking to hire full-time employee starting on 01.01.2027 at our headquarters in Eiterfeld, for the following position:

Project Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

As the leader of cross-functional project teams, you will take on the following responsibilities:

• You will define project goals and requirements, align them with the company’s strategy, set the direction, and create a clear vision for successful implementation
• You will empower and motivate your project team by setting clear expectations regarding quality, performance, and collaboration, and by ensuring effective teamwork
• You will establish an open and goal-oriented communication culture with all project stakeholders, including external service providers and suppliers

You will assume overall responsibility for your projects. This includes:

• Developing a clear project vision and ensuring its committed and goal-oriented implementation
• Working closely with functional departments and executives to secure the necessary personnel and technical resources for project implementation
• Taking responsibility for project budgets and cost control, as well as actively contributing to the development of business cases in collaboration with product management and marketing
• Proactive risk management through the systematic identification, assessment, and management of project risks and opportunities
• You will develop creative and practical solutions for change requests, resource bottlenecks, process optimizations, and deviations during the course of the project, and oversee their successful implementation
• You identify, coordinate, and resolve cross-functional issues and conflicts within the project, particularly when there are competing priorities among different departments

As a Project Manager, you ensure that:

• project deliverables meet the defined requirements in terms of scope, deadlines, quality, and costs, while consistently applying the imes-icore project development processes
• all necessary project documentation is created, maintained, and kept up to date, including product requirements, specifications, business cases, development proposals, project orders, schedules, budgets, effort estimates, team guidelines, and forecasts

Your additional responsibilities include all project administrative and management activities, in particular:

• Meetings: status meetings, reviews, and lessons learned
• Reporting: weekly, monthly, and vendor reports
• Monitoring and analyzing schedules and budgets
• Effectively managing priorities and collaboration with team members
• Reporting project status to the imes-icore Senior Leadership Team

Profile of requirements

• A successfully completed bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable qualification
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• At least 5 years of professional experience in project management, project coordination, or a comparable position
• An independent and dedicated individual with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• A proactive, solution-oriented, and positive approach to work
• A structured work style and excellent time management skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• A solid understanding of technical and business matters
• A strong team-oriented mindset and a passion for collaborating in a dynamic work environment
• Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
• Experience with common project management software is desirable
