One of the highlights of the imes-icore Home Event was the gala evening, which featured an auction of an exclusive CORiTEC 350i Loader PRO+ in a FIFA World Cup-inspired design. Making the machine even more unique, it had been signed by German football legend Toni Schumacher, who had joined the event that evening as a keynote speaker. A jersey signed by Schumacher was also included in the auction.
The special machine was finally bought by Dr. Ivica Dubravica of Meddix Dental in Croatia. It was already clear during the event that part of the proceeds would be donated to charitable causes. A total of €5,000 was donated in equal parts to the “Kleine Helden” Osthessen children’s and youth hospice and Sparklekids Zimbabwe. Sparklekids Zimbabwe helps children from disadvantaged families gain access to education and, through a recently launched microcredit program, supports women in establishing small businesses.
Just a few weeks after the Home Event, the CORiTEC 350i Loader PRO+ arrived at its new home at Meddix Dental in Croatia, where it was immediately integrated into daily production.
Shortly after installation, the machine was already being used as part of a workshop for dental technicians. The hands-on event was organized together with pritidenta GmbH, a member of the imes-icore Group specializing in high-quality CAD/CAM materials.
In a short space of time, a highlight of the Home Event had therefore become part of everyday digital dental manufacturing – providing users with the opportunity to experience real-world processes on the system and exchange technical expertise.
The story has now returned to imes-icore’s home region. On September 2, Jens Wahl, CFO of imes-icore GmbH, visited the headquarters of the “Kleine Helden” children’s and youth hospice in Michelsrombach.
During a personal exchange and a walk around the site, Martin Schneider, a representative of the organization, shared valuable insights into the work of “Kleine Helden”. The visit highlighted how the organization supports families whose children or family members are seriously ill, as well as families coping with the loss of a loved one. The visit concluded with the official handover of the donation check, while imes-icore received a handcrafted wooden dragon as a gesture of appreciation for its support. Closely associated with “Kleine Helden”, the dragon will now have a permanent place at the imes-icore headquarters in Eiterfeld.
“The Home Event was always about much more than technology for us. It was about partnership, personal encounters and bringing people together. It is especially rewarding to see how a story that began at the Home Event, continued in Croatia and is now also having a positive impact here in our home region,” says imes-icore CFO Jens Wahl.
What began at the Home Event in Eiterfeld has grown into a story that combines a special auction, an international partnership and social engagement in Eastern Hesse. For imes-icore, it is a fitting example of how innovation, personal partnerships and social responsibility can go hand in hand.
